Loving this "pumpkin orange" book shelf and the way it adds a pop to this neutral room. Now I want a painted bookshelf to call my own. Maybe all the orange pumpkins are sending me subliminal messages. I just looked down and spotted that I have "300" followers. Thank-you to each of you for visiting. Hope you will visit often and be inspired to live an artful life, even on the gloomiest of days!
It is funny you write about pumpkin orange. I am green gal yet over the weekend I saw some beautiful bath towels in pumpkin orange that were calling my name. I didn't get them, but I haven't stopped thinking about them. Hmmm... maybe this is my little voice saying yes add a splash of color to our bath. xoxo
ReplyDeletethat looks like the lack case from ikea..i just bought one in black and i looooove it
ReplyDeleteLove that, although I have a weakness for orange.

I went through an orange phase awhile back something about that color makes me smile! Listen to that inner voice!
ReplyDeleteThe seasons have so much to do with it, don't you think? I love all of the browns, russets, oranges right now- but after Thanksgiving... reds, greens, gold, burgundy, olive......
ReplyDeleteWe must find you a bookshelf and a console. Have a great day-I know it's going to be a full one. My word verification is 'cutie'!
I love pops of color in a room, and orange has its magic. I have a few orange bird of paradise silk flowers in a large urn I love looking at them!
ReplyDeleteGood luck finding what you want, and as always, there is always paint, as you very well know. :)
I am so happy for you that your blog has grown! I've been a groupie frm the beginning and love to come her and sit awhile...

I'm a big fan of orange and with that brown it looks delish.
ReplyDeleteI was actually planning to do an "orange" post tomorrow! It's one of my favorite "boom, pow" colors to add a punch to any room. That bookcase definitely has an Hermes vibe to it. So striking!
ReplyDeletePops of color like this add so much interest to a room's design!
ReplyDeleteI believe that you cannot get enough orange.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 300!!
That makes me want to paint something... anything orange.
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin orange is so nice and especially in the combination with this white chair in front of it! I do like everything on this picture!!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the 300!!
OMG! I am trying to pick a colour for the hallway of the 1850's building where I work. I've gone from pale yellow to silver sage, from a greeny beige to pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteOh yes - I'm particularly in love with both spicy oranges and saffron-y yellows this season! They really warm a space up when it's cold outside!
ReplyDeleteI have been loving all the beautiful shades of orange. Been debating on whether or not I should paint a vintage serpentine bureau a high gloss pumpkin. I'm kinda thinkin' I should!

300! Good show. :-) I'm smitten with orange and I've also wondered if it's the world o' pumpkins that surrounds me. The Southern Living mag I just picked up had an orange front door that I'm in love with. I'm thinking of buying some orange towels for my powder room to inexpensive get my fix. :-)
