pretty things


Make Lemonade, pve design artwork, sold.
I made time to go to my painting class and painted these pretty things. I love taking time for pretty little things. I also love fine lines, but sometimes feel the need to step out of my box.

This was my first attempt, then I went back to my fine lines. Which one do you prefer, with the fine lines or without?
Thanks to each of you who took the time to look carefully and to leave me a comment, both works of art have been sold and I am so thrilled to know that my work will be loved as much as I love painting. Thank-you!

    I prefer the fine lines, but they both are beaytiful.

    Both are lovely, however, I prefer the one without the fine lines. It reminds me of a Cezanne, along the Impressionistic style. Hope you're having a wonderful Anniversary Day!

    I LOVE these. If I had to pick, I'd say that I perfer the fine lines since they give your work such depth and charm. But the painting without is very lovely too.

    Hi!
    I so much prefer the fine lines. However,I think the outcome would have been ultimate if you had not added fine lines to the fruit. Or, maybe even if the definition of the fruit was just a tad less severe it would appeal more to my eyes.

    That being said, all that you do is amazing!

    I prefer without the lines. While I love your work with your signature fine lines, in this instance the still life watercolor without lines is softer and more elegant.

    indeed both are great- but I am drawn more to the fine lines. I like how it makes the items pops.

    The first one is just perfect, got lot's of definition and I like it a bit better.

    I love both of these but if I had to pick one, it would be with the lines. They are one addition that just add your own touch!

    Both are beautiful but for this type of painting I prefer the one without the fine lines. But then again, if you didn't show the one without I wouldn't have missed it.

    I love that you push yourself to do what your not comfortable with. i think it makes us grow as artists. Sometimes it gives you the clarity to keep doing what you have done before.

    Tough call, but I do believe I prefer the one without! I agree with Mlle. Purple Flowers...something very Cezanne about it.
