pool house

A recent commission work of art for a proposed "pool house" caused me to do a little search and gather some of my favorite images of pool houses.  Note the outdoor shower on the side, for a quick rinse.
A variety of planters adds a special touch to this chic pool house.
A Rectangular pool for swimming laps comes in handy too.

Perhaps you prefer to swim around in circles.
What would your pool house look like?
I think my pool house would soon become an art-studio-go-to!

  3. I do not have a circular pool but as I wipe formula from my shoulder I realized that one does not need one to feel they are swimming around in circles... :)

  5. My pool house would be more "other worldly" than the main house is permitted to be (if I had a pool and a pool house). Your illustration is, as always, a day-brightener.

  6. Any one of those pool houses would suit me just fine. I would want to make sure I could make a pitcher of ice tea in the pool house, so that the main house is out mind, and the only place on earth is the pool and the little pool house - for the afternoon. What a delightful thought! :)

  9. Spent an afternoon in the pool yesterday after a two hour bike ride in the peaceful countryside. The feel of the cold water on my heated skin and muscles was a balm only a pool can give. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh SUMMER!

  16. First, I need a pool, but then I would definitely have some sort of cabana/Moroccan style pool house because I know we would never leave it!

  21. Hmmm, yes, an art studio by day; filled with candle light and laughter by night. A big palladian window and climbing ivy....

  26. My pool house would look very much like the one you drew. I also like white washed brick, open space, and great kitchenette. Best of all, it would have a snowball maker with a variety of flavored syrups for fun afternoons by the pool with friends!
