please and thank-you

Nothing pleases me more than a stack of artfully covered books, or the fact that 3 lovely books arrived this week, all "gifts" from various blog admirers.
Thank-you for thinking of me.  Books are like friends, one can always make room for more.
The more the merrier.
Are these books not the prettiest?  I found them on-line via Haskell Harris, produced by Middleton's Library.

So, so right PVE, the more, the merrier!

Love books ~ my newest post is on books. Currently reading The Goddess Experience by Gisele Scanlon.
Light and summery.

I saw these at the New York Gift Show, the entire booth was color coordinated, they took my breath away. So pretty and colorful.

Great books are good for the soul and a design aesthetic! I especially like the metallic ones, very unique.

You lucky gal! I love books and have a huge collection (the byproduct of reading addiction).

Those are so lovely. I would love to cover all the books in my 'oh so cluttered' and 'oh so visible' living room bookshelves!

I am book lover too. Awhile ago I bought an 8 volume encylcopedia series from the 30's and the covers are gorgeous! I haven't been able to make myself list them for sale yet.

So pretty! I love books...old, dusty ones and new crisp-smelling ones. They make the best decor, too.

gorgeous and such nice blogger friends. Where did I just read about "be generous and expect nothing in return"?? You give us such wonderful eye candy and look what showed up in your mailbox...love that.

What a bit a loveliness. Casting bread upon the waters is even better when it comes back to you in books! I keep say how much I love living with "spines." They are totems, guides, instructors, friends. Plus they are good looking and as you point out, well stacked! Perfection.

Books. Life enriching, lifelong companions. Amongst my dearest possessions, collected over decades for their intrinsic, not dollar, value to me. Without books, my inner life would be as bleak as a sky without birds. But don't get me started.
