Painting at Bethesda Fountain

What a thrill to paint in Central Park amongst the many incredibly wonderful painters from near and far. I just wanted to share a snippet of one of my works of art from this morning.
I was so pleased to find a cool spot to enjoy the shade, and to see so many people and dogs out and about. There truly is no place like New York.

Mel-
I know, I just had to pinch myself, but rest assured, I am back at home, cleaning up the lunch dishes and doing laundry....
I love juggling my art and my family life!
Give your girl a smooch.

Love that water fountain; I can feel the coolness of it. And a very pretty illustration. Two adventures two weeks in a row - hooray for you! :)

A life weaving together art and family is full and rewarding. Good for you to find time for both.

Your fountain picture is beautiful. I love the cityscape in the background. Seeing your new work is a joy!

Lucky lady that you are - to have all of this at your talented finger-tips! Even laundry must seem o.k.-after a morning such as this!

Gorgeous! When we lived at 72nd & 3rd I used to walk there all the time. One of my favorite spots you captured so beautifully.

ethereal ~ e.the.re.al ~ adjective meaning extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.

pve ~ p.v.e. ~ ethereal

this fountain piece truly is lovely ~ ethereal was on the only word i could come up with to describe how you have captured the light ... once again you so gently blow me away with your gift ...
