Call me a hedonist, but there is nothing quite like filling one's home with the heady aroma of fresh cut flowers. I took a tip from Eddie Ross, and delighted in arranging my very own compositions of all white, tulips, hyacinths, lilies, and greenery and for days have had the pleasure of good scents all around me.
Are you on a hedonistic pursuit? What are you filling
your home with?
Those are so pretty, I love white flowers! Fit to be painted!
ReplyDeleteI love scented candles, myself....flowery scents.
My little girl gave me a candle for my birthday from ANTHRO and it smells like I am swimming in flowers.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!
Beautiful Patricia!
ReplyDeleteI love flowers, a bowl filled with fruit and candles. My favorite scented candles are Pacifica soy candles. Even their bar of soap fills the bathroom.

ReplyDeleteLots and lots of daffodils. I love the sunshine color this time of year. This weekend I will hunt for my very favorite Fressia to tuck here and there for Easter. Your arragements look fab.
ReplyDeleteWhite lillies are my FAVE! I can never get enough of their sweet scent. I am really bad about buying flowers for our house. I never want to spend the money. Sometimes my husband will surprise me with a bouquet and then I wonder why we don't always have them around :)
ReplyDeletei can practically smell the hyacinths -- really lovely
ReplyDeleteattempt two!
ReplyDeleteI hate my spelling errors ;)

ReplyDeleteas far as heavenly scent flowers go, i adore lilies.
ReplyDeleteAre flowers hedonistic?? If so, yes I am an unabashed hedonist, for I have a large aqua arts and crafts vase filled to burst with the most deliciously scented white lilies in my sitting room and a fat cup of roses on my secretary. They all smell divine and make me so happy.
ReplyDeleteI have fallen out of the habit of buying fresh flowers for my desk...I think this is a mistake. Just saw the most gorgeous white hydrangeas while buying groceries, going to go back and get them!

ReplyDeleteSo hedonistic I am in South Carolina soaking up sun--I will bring some back to NY for you!

Art!I am ready for spring flowers though, and will be going to the nursery soon!
ReplyDeleteRight now my home is filled with cut flowers and i. love. it. I want it this way all the time. It's so nice to be blow drying your hair or putting on your shoes and to look up and see a pretty little arrangement sitting there. You can't help but smile.
ReplyDeleteI don't know but I love your flowers.
ReplyDeleteI go thru Vie Luxe candles in Buenos Aires like there's no tomorrow. Traded in my C'ville orchid obsession for these after the move.
ReplyDeleteps i luuuuv all white floral arrangements....
Ooh! I just bought hyacinths. A fave smell...truly spring.
ReplyDeleteMy husband knew from the beginning...flowers were to be white!!! LOL. I love it when he brings me white lillies. Some people don't like the smell of them, but I find them intoxicating!
ReplyDeleteFrom one hedonist to another...have a great long weekend!
I love your white flowers! Ones that smell sweet are my favorite. Right now my jasmine is blooming by the door so it smells heavenly everytime I go in and out the front.
ReplyDeleteWishing you the happiest of easter weekends!
xo Mary Jo
What a gorgeous arrangement, Patricia!
ReplyDeleteI've apparently been filling my home with dust bunnies (in time for Easter!) judging by my floors last week! So my home was filled with vinegar and water and hand towels this weekend. :-) But...I felt great after the spring cleaning. Really!
