A quick hop into the city for a visit to the Moma.
A sweet bunny on paper hops into my heart.
Paper on display. Artfully folded and hung for thoughtful introspection.
A visual display of energy, youth, vitality.
Everyone seemed to be out enjoying the Spring.
Denim. Cell phone. Friends. Check.
Spring blossoms showing off in the midst of concrete and metal.
Spring fever is in the air and on the wall this good friday.
Do you have spring fever?
YES! And me and my spring fever symptoms energy and vitality are gonna have a blast this weekend!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Easter Patricia!
I sure do! It's warm {er} here in the northeast, with bright sun! A perfect day to prepare for the holiday. Love your images from a day in the city!
ReplyDeleteOh yes today especially Hubby is off work and it is so warm today. Already took dog for long walk, packing snacks to head out for bike ride in the country. Germans are so happy when its nice out.Yay!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Patricia!!! xoh
ReplyDeleteI've had spring fever since Nov! My husband is off work for Good Friday, so I'm hoping the Chicago weather will be nice and let us go out and play! I'd be content to sit on the porch and watch my kids draw with chalk on the sidewalk - as long as there's some warm sun on our faces! Happy Easter PVE!
ReplyDeletemy spring has sprung, I don't carei f I have to still wear a coat to plant my lettuce and pansies.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't wait to go see that exhibit....paper and bunnies...oh my...Ck out the bunny I saw in Paris, I'll post it just for you :) Happy Easter!
We are so in sync. Both inspired by the same artist. What a wonderful day. Thanks so much again. It was wonderful. Yes I have spring fever. Now I want to get in the garden and am anxious to see all around me grow.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, PVE! I hope your weekend is filled with all things fresh and new!
ReplyDeleteLove that textured bunny - a decoration in and of itself.
ReplyDeleteDo I have spring fever? Yes, yes and....YES!
The fever is becoming unbearable. I sit outside in the sun freezing to death trying to pretend it's actually warm! Love the bunny by the way.
ReplyDeleteNo spring, but Hay-Fever it is for me over here :-(
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice day you had with Kwana. Really enjoyed the pictures and the story.
Wish you a happy Easter! Carmela.
My heart skips a hop and a jump when I think about spending a day at the MOMA. Happy Easter to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteNothing is better than a day of inspiration surrounded by art and sunshine... Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI totally have spring fever. I just wish the sun in NY would stop playing peek a boo. One second it out and sunny and then next grey and dreary!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a happy Easter.
I've had it since December 26th. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter my friend! May the day be filled with spring in the heart, laughter to the ears and chocolate in the tummy.
ReplyDeleteHave a golden day! xoxo
Oh, that is an adorable bunny in the painting 1
ReplyDeletea fab friday indeed. longing to just hop into the city for an afternoon. alas, the midwest isn't quite so cosmopolitan. the soft bunny painting is like a lovely pale stain coming from the surface. is this your work? and the youth shot is so nostalgic, great description. enjoy your outing today.

ReplyDeleteGood Friday Patricia, Thanks for your kind comments at TLPC. Yes, Derby is in the air. But first Easter which is one of my favorites. I must comment on the fun photo of the kids. Don't you just love watching teens enjoying a good life? I always want to go to youth group with my kids!

Fondly,
Lisa

I am longing for spring to actually happen. The weather here has been wet, windy and cold...this must be some kinda joke! Snow mixed with rain a possibility? On Easter? I am thinkin' mother nature must have a bone to pick.
ReplyDeleteI have Spring Fever so bad. It’s not quite spring yet here in Boston and I'm growing impatient waiting for the nice weather, it seems to take forever to come :)
