art of tea

sister Lizzie's tea pot, perhaps she will paint this for us one day

I love my sister's tea pot.  She inherited this magical pot from our Great Aunt Louise
who had a collection of "strong and stout" things to enjoy the art of tea.
I enjoyed a cup of tea with friends last Sunday and they introduced me to a fabulous site full of the most intoxicating teas.   Currently the Art of Tea is having a "economic stimulus package" 20% off all great tea til April 30th.   Take time to enjoy a cup of tea (on sale).
Tea is an art, all the more reason to pour me a cup.

I ahve been away from you too long!! Just lazy, or maybe it's really life has taken over and I can't tear myself away from it (isn't that better than being unable to tear myself away from the computer? Heehee!) I am off to check out the tea website; what a love you are to help out your neighbors (please move to THIS part of NY!),so sorry to hear about your is-in-law's BF...honestly, I feel we are too young for these things to happen but we have to maek the most of each day as we just never know! Love the header you made for the blog, it's gorgeous as is all you do! Hope you are enjoying our great weather! Thinking of you!

I just noticed the teapot. It looks like it is china/porcelain painted, is it? I love old painted china pieces. Very pretty! xoxo

A simple cup of tea can cure many an ill, or brighten a dreary day. Especially if it is served in such a lovely pot!
