You would build towers with the kapla blocks and lego cities. You had a hard time pronouncing your brother's name - so you just called him "Jo Jo."
I am still wiping spills and loving you more each day.
"Daddy" and I have enjoyed watching you grow and are thankful for each year as your parents. We feel so grateful to have had twins. Hard to imagine that
the years have flown by so quickly.
Hey, "Jo Jo" - over here, it's me, wishing you a wonderful year ahead. I know you cannot wait to drive. You have always shown your independence, cruising about with curiosity. It has been a joy to see you develop into the person you are. Your dry wit, and strong hug make my day.
I know how appreciative you are after enduring a rough bout last fall. The strength and courage you displayed served you well, on your road to a total recovery.
May you both enjoy this day, full of thanks for all the ones who love you, your grandparents, family and friends. I would like to thank "Ernie" for being there when they were infants and for showing me the obvious. Life is not so hard when you have angels around you to carry you. Give thanks, and celebrate all the love and welcome xvi.

Happy Birthday to your darling boys! Those are precious pictures - ones you and your husband no doubt hold dear! There's nothing like those early days of babyhood. Have a wonderful day celebrating 16!

Happy :-) Happy :-) Happy :-) Birthday sweet boys! Doesn't time just FLY? Patricia, my oldest just turned 17 and my son Christian will be 16 in a couple of weeks. It seems yesterday I was helping them learn to WALK! They are 14 months apart, and I could never dress them differently because they always wanted the SAME thing theother one had. SO, YES, I got the question- are they twins? I would always respond, "YEAH- the HARD way!" Children are such a blessing, are they not?
ReplyDeleteBTW- I wanted to ask you to pray for the Octuplets and their family. They are in need as ANY family would be, and I feel the media buzz has been very detrimental to them receiving the assistance they need. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers, and if you feel moved, help them in whatever way you feel compelled. If you will leave me a comment on my blog, I am trying to coordinate efforts to get resources and supplies to them. Thanks!!!
How adorable are they!! Happy 16th birthday to your boys:)

ReplyDeleteI just loved this tribute to your boys...it is so much fun remembering them when they were young but rewarding to see the young men they become. I do long sometimes for days past, mine are 21 and 23, they never truly understand a mother's love.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you!
