patio party

pve design illustration for jmclaughlin
A patio is a perfect spot to hold a summer's eve cocktail.  Entertaining outside is a great way to embrace your inner "courtyard" and liven up your terrace or patio with accessories to bring about an island soiree.  Palm trees, fountains, and lattice work can easily be added to transform a space from drab to delightful.  Torches to add light as well as strings of lights are a wonderful way to add ambiance, and extra light when the sun goes down.   Events can be tied to a gallery opening, or for a worthy cause on a patio, terrace, deck or sun-roof!

  9. I agree, you can make any space nice -lattice and plants will transform a concrete porch in the city into a tropical oasis :-) Beautiful clothes shown here, too!

  13. If only it weren't 110 in the shade, I'd love to host or, better yet, attend a patio party. As usual, love your art! I was hoping to do a post on my blog about some of the talented creative artists' blogs I've found (like you and Hazel). Would it be ok if I posted one of your illustrations along with it?
