I did say that I was going to challenge myself to paint each day but have been so caught up with work and life so I thought I would share some of my recently published work.
One of my boys will be coming home tonight from college for a 3 day weekend and I am thinking about my menu. It dawned on me that I could turn to Sheridan Road "Good Eats" May issue.
Dashing out to send off some artwork and then to the grocery. It's pouring here so I better wear my rain boots~
This rain is a downer but I checked my freezer and found some of my Nana's stew tucked away so it will be perfect for tonight's dinner. Enjoy the son!
ReplyDeleteKwana,
ReplyDeleteThank-you. We were so spoiled with so many glorious spring days....but I guess we need the rain or rather nature needs it.
It is a downer, especially since this is the 8th grade field trip today.
Enjoy that stew.

Stay dry out there today Patricia...it is a dreary one! We have been so spoiled, but think how lush everything will be after this rain.
ReplyDeleteI love your latest paintings...perfect for a kitchen.
Enjoy your time with your son! Mine comes home next week for the summer! xoxo

Meal looks great
I see that asparagus - one of my favorites! We've been having it nearly every night on the grill -just some olive oil, salt & pepper and a few red pepper flakes and it's AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a delicious dinner. Mine is similar!
ReplyDeleteYUmmers! I hope you have a great time with your son.
ReplyDeleteYum all of my favorites: wild salmon, asparagus, basmanti brown grain rice with wild rice and fresh strawberries with real whipped cream!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend Patricia! I know it will be with you son's visit- how fun!

ReplyDeleteLovely blog <3
ReplyDeletehave a nice day
Lovely illustrations ~particularly the asparagus! Perhaps that's on the menu tonight? Enjoy the visit with your son. My son is now 24 and is finished with college ~ and living REAL life. My daughter is finishing her last year of college and starting a one year masters program in accounting. It's sad to think they won't be coming home for summers anymore:( but I am fortunate that they both are close by.
ReplyDeleteYour illustrations would be perfect for a kitchen ~ you are so talented!
Enjoy your weekend and Happy Mother's Day!
