Happy Easter

 Nothing says Easter to me more than a pretty Easter Bonnet for the Easter Parade.  I remember my Mother making me a pastel plaid Easter Ensemble, it was a cape with slits and a matching shift dress.  I truly thought I was the bees knees.  If only I'd had this hat to top it all off.  Audrey looks ready to welcome the Easter Bunny.  Just look at that taffeta bow.
The other day while shopping for some Easter goodies, I walked past a display of Easter lilies and the fragrance was enough to lure me over and stick my nose right into such a wonderful heady scent. Do you wear an Easter Bonnet?  Hope you have a Happy Easter.

    Happy Easter! I used to love making up Easter bonnets, flowers, birds, ribbons all so much fun.

    My mother used to make my sister and me walk up down our front sidewalk in our Easter
    outfits. She wanted to take pictures of both the front
    and back views. And yes, we had Easter bonnets.
    Also,matching gloves (hat, gloves, shoes, purses). And remember these? spring coats!

    Happy Easter! Easter bonnets always makes me think of children making them for for the parade in grade school....now I'm sure they call it the Spring Parade.

    I used to remember my Mother always buying me new clothes for Easter Church Service and then the Easter egg hunting for us kids. It was so much fun. No Easter bonnets for us though.

    Happy Easter!! I have worn an Easter bonnet, growing up in Texas, but I haven't in many decades. I do love a good hat though!!

    I used to wear a hat almost every Easter when I was in high school and college! I had quite a collection. But haven't worn one in ages!

    We spent Easter in Florence when we were young and the Italians know how to wear an Easter bonnet! Sadly, gone are the days we wear ours... Happy Easter, PVE, and have a wonderful weekend!

    There is really something special about Easter bonnet memories...mine and my girls'. Although I think I was only able to get them to wear them when they were very tiny.
