From my window, it almost looks as if there is a fire in the distance to keep us warm.
Can you imagine within just a few minutes how different the dawn can look. Call me crazy, I love the dawn of a new day and that the sky holds rosy things in store for each of us.
Patricia,
ReplyDeleteSuch great shots!! We are snuggled up here, too! I do love the winter, so I will not complain! Keep warm!!
Good morning Patricia...what beautiful photos. Isn't it amazing how gorgeous it has been the past few days...until you stepped outside into the bitter cold?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend trying to stay warm. Next week is supposed to be above average temps...woohoo!
xoxoxo
Great photos, have a wonderful weekend. My first visit to your site.
ReplyDeleteIt's the best when you're out running....the most healing time of day. Stay warm over there! My sis in Virginia sent a message saying, "It's as cold as Wyoming. I don't like this!" :). Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have been catching up on my blog reading. I had forgotten how good I feel when I come here :)
ReplyDeleteThank you
Had the temperature outside been a tad warmer, we would have enjoyed our cup of coffee on the terrace just to soak in the beauty of today's dawn... How pretty the sky was and how cold the air!

A beautiful sky indeed. I also love the miracle of a new day. It can bring so much opportunity-big or small. I like the quote "if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours."
ReplyDeleteNot crazy at all. The promise a new day holds for us is magical. Especially when the sky puts on such a stunning light show.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day.
Jennifer
Gorgeous sunrise photos! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteah, surreal...that gradation from yellow to pink. Hear Michael Buble singing "it's a new dawn, it's a new day" now ha
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your sunrise, Patricia. It's a new dawn for us - my dad comes home tomorrow after 6 weeks of illness and recovery. I'm so thankful. I hope that you and your family stay nice and toasty warm this weekend. XOXO
ReplyDeletethe prospects of a new day....... one never knows what tomorrow may bring.
ReplyDeleteI wish my sky looked like this ours was gray gray and more gray! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a BEAUTIFUL photograph!
ReplyDeleteI love the dawn and try to be up to meet it. From my window, as the sun comes up silhouetting (I had to look up the spelling) the palm trees, I feel as if I could be anywhere in the world and that the world is within and within reach. Beautiful photos. Thanks. Mary
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful way to wake up and get to see every morning and your dawn is gorgeous. We were a -15 yesterday morning with the wind chill and trust me when I say it takes your breath away!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
