  3. Well the custom social event would be my pick. Not because it is the most expensive but because then I would have a memory of our family Christmas celebration.
Your blog is such a fun place to visit!

  4. Patricia,
I'm not sure what you really mean. I would adore a PVE house portrait!! But if that is not in the mix, your hydrangea not cards are beautiful!

Love to create a custom house portrait for you with lobsters everywhere!

    A.D.-
Going overboard can be even the simplest of things, like a fresh cut sprig of holly but giving creates goodwill and I can totally see you going overboard.
Lucky friends and family deserve that,

  19. I would adore a pet portrait! My beloved English Cocker, Arthur, is over 16 years old and has three tumors and won't make it much longer. He sits at my front door everyday with his little brother, Oakley, waiting for me to come home from work. That image in my mind will be with me a lifetime but it would be nice to have it illustrated- Coming Home.
    Thanks!Kirsten-kelandre@aol.com

  28. Wow, talk about the spirit of the season ~ you are Amazing AND generous. Bespoke and Gorgeous....Everything you do, with a special touch that makes it seem even extra personal and many artists do "custom" very well but the finished piece lacks that personal connection. You get it and you create it and now you're giving it away. Did I say WOW! Ok to the business of it all ~ I would choose to have the portrait of our furry golden child with (if possible) his 2 feline siblings that are now only with us in spirit. He still sees them and sometimes even chases them so it would be lovely to capture that wonderment visually and for eternity. How I wish I'd known your work almost 15 years ago when we were married ~ A wedding day portrait would have been magnificent. Thank you for a lovely and meaningful blog ~ Merry Christmas. TJF

  30. You are both generous and inspiring--great reminder that the holidays are about the giving, not the receiving (something I try to remind the fourth graders that I teach, but they are 10 year olds). I would choose the custom monogram just because then I would not have to pick between my black lab or my 19 year old sweet cat for a pet portrait. Thanks for the great reminder of what the holidays are truly about! --Julia

  31. What a generous person you are...with your time, talent, and spirit. Your mom and dad must surely be so proud of you.

When presented with an offer as this, I would have to choose one of your luscious house portraits...I love every single one I've seen.

I have big, old trees surrounding my house. We built it in the Williamsburg style, made with old bricks we chose to give it texture. There's symmetry in the double doors and windows which have no shutters so they appear to be big pretty eyes. I love it so. If you saw it you would just have to paint it.

Win or lose, I win by having your blog and work as inspiration. You're a special person, Patricia. Have a Wonderful Holiday.

  32. Phyllis,
Yes, my Mom and Dad are proud of me and all of their children and grandchildren. Did you know that I am one of seven? I really would love to create a work of your home. I can feel your love from the words you left.
Thanks- back to bed for me. College boys are home and I always have to check on whereabouts.

I am going to have to say a custom wedding portrait for when we finally tie the knot in 2013. Nothing beats original artwork on your walls except for when it’s PVE artwork! xx

  36. Such a wonderful idea - 'tis the season!

I'd enjoy a portrait of the two things that bring me the most comfort and joy, my home (and those that live in it) and my terrier Bailey.

  37. I love your shop, I purchased the beautiful tote bag this past summer, and it's great! If I could choose anything, I think it would be a pet portrait of my 2 goldens!

  38. Wow! This truly captures the spirit of the season. If I had my choice I would select the custom home portrait. It took us 3 years to sell our old home a purchase our new home. We had to be truly patient as things didn't go exactly as planned. It was truly God's plan as we wound up closing and moving just one month after I gave birth to our second child. Not exactly the best time to move, but now that we have lived here for 6 months I will say that there is no place like home. I would love for your to capture our new home - the place where my two little boys will grow up. Merry Christmas! Amanda

  54. How wonderful!! I found you through Absolutely Beautiful Things as I loved the paintings that you did for Anna. I thought that you captured the blues and table so beautifully. If a christmas gift was to come my way from you I think I would like to choose the note cards and with your permission I would frame one of them. Also the furry baby you've just painted looks alot like Anna's dog Ned! Merry Christmas to you x
