Beautiful boxwoods seem to be calling my name.
I found this one here at Boxwoods.
How darling would they be hung on the backs of chairs or at each place setting for a festive dinner.
I adore a classic preserved boxwood wreath.
A friend told me she had bought one for her door.
I admire boxwood topiaries, wreaths and garlands.
What sort of wreath do you hang?
I love your painting! We have 2 front doors, so one will be "real", and the other my son and I got last year at the hardware store. He loves it because it lights up, and so I will dutifully hang it up!
ReplyDeleteI love boxwoods - there is something so light and happy about them. And I love the idea using them to deck the backs of chairs. How pretty that would be. This year I have simple pine wreaths that Pam brought into Red Ticking. They are handmade, each one is slightly different and they have the sweetest little pine cones on them - not glued on, but part of the branches. They are lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty illustration! XO
Any simple wreath = love.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boxwood wreaths! I can only imagine how tiny the first one must be in relation to the leaf size! Our wreath this year is boxwood too... I removed the bow that came with it, added my own ribbon, magnolia and holly from our yard, and silver bells I had from past years. We have boxwood growing by the front door, so I'll usually add some sprigs of that too, if the wreath is not boxwood. Sometimes I am able to find boxwood garland too, but this year our garland is cedar.
ReplyDeletePatricia, I Adore your illustration!
ReplyDeleteI love both boxwood and pine wreaths; adding my own "special ribbons, pinecones, & berries!

ReplyDeletewe hang a fraser fir wreath from the local farmer's market. But that box wreath with rich red ribbon has me rethinking my choice. Hmmm
