Sorry for the late post this morning. We had a major storm yesterday which caused a power outage so I read by candle light and happened upon an article which lead me to the work of this wonderful artist, Luke Martineau. I happen to love supplies and really good tools and these paintings are so inspiring to me.
How wonderful is this painting of pitchers, mugs and tools.
A great collection of brushes and a cup of tea.
My kind of power tools.
We all have to find ways and tools to power through any kind of weather.
Thank-you Luke for your kind e-mail and I do hope you start a blog soon.
Your work is marvelous.

Thanks for helping us power through this storm :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you've all weathered the storm. A cup of tea and art supplies? Sounds like the perfect way to spend the morning. Love the artist. XO

Bummer about the storm
Candles a tool of time
I used to love to volunteer in my son's art class, in part because it was so much fun to be around all the art supplies! One of my new favorite teas to drink is chai - perfect for this time of year, especially on the cooler days!
ReplyDeleteSuper paintings Patricia. Thanks for sharing Luke's work with us.
ReplyDeleteAlways in awe of talented artists.
Hope the storm not too bad, and all back to normal now.
Have a lovely day,
Lizx
Wonderful paintings. Love seeing the tools that paint the art used as art themselves.
ReplyDeleteRealmente, são lindas! Adoro colocar meus lápis e pinceis em canecas ou latas! Boa quarta-feira, beijos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting of the paint brushes themselves.

That was quite the storm!!! We had a boom and the lights went out....then fortunately, came back on. I'm proud of you for "powering" though!!!

it's great when your power tools can work by candlelight.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful paintings! That storm was crazy - I am glad your power is back now!
ReplyDeleteOne can almost smell the paint from those painting. I love the stripy jug with brushes, it reminds me of art collage and the fact that brushes also managed to find a way of being dunked into a cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful paintings! I can see why they have inspired you. I am inspired by looking at my little katiedid by pve everyday! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis paintings are beautiful--a glimpse into the artist's life. Have a wonderful evening.
