smiles

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting my college friend Denise in the city.  We met at the MET and toured ninety percent of the museum, walked miles, had a scrumptious lunch and shopped and smiled.    We chatted, laughed and walked.  It felt so nice to take a break and see a good friend.

Can you believe that we have college kids and both been respectively married to great men for over 20 plus years?  We are both still smiling.  How lucky are we to catch up and spend a great day with one another.  Now I must make plans for our next visit!

Hi! I'm Halle, and I am the editor of the Classic&Glam Blog. I recently stumbled upon our blog! I'd appreciate if you checked mine out as well. If you like it, please follow- I'd be glad to return the favor.

Also- I would like to ask, how much do you charge for your illustrations? They're beautiful.

Best,
C&G

Patricia, what is better than a wonderful day catching up with a longtime friend. I am sure lunch ad touring at the Met was a great experience!

PVE,

We never realize how many things in life make our heart "sing" and they often include spending time with others. I spend time with a wonderful friend about once every month and a half.

It's soul food and heart medicine...what a wonderful life we live. You both show that in starry eyes and big smiles.
Cheers for long friendships, long marriages, college aged children and proof that...life is Good!

Happy Mothers Day to both of you!

Spending a day with a good friend seems to always add a smile to our faces. Doesn't it seem almost coming full circle? You both met in college, you are boys in college both married to your best friend... A great way to kick off your weekend. :) xo

I still keep up with my college room mate and friends. We all get better with age. People are pinning your Reynolda Village J. McLaughlin painting--seems to be a hit. Happy Mother's Day!
Best,

Oh, yes-------a day with my dearest friend (who lives so far away)--I'm going to make that happen soon. Friends are absolutely the best present anyone could possibly wish for. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

You both look like you are still in college...graduate students with a bit more of the world under your belts. I've recently had a few reunions with former college mates. We've met in various cities and had great fun. Your post reminds me we are due for another. Thanks.
