Hmmm - good question. I think whatever happens, I will go where the wind takes me!
A bit of a challenge doesn't bother me, but overall, I think I'm ready for a little "kick back."

That quote is fantastic!!! So true. I have to admit, I like calm waters, but every now and then we hit those big waves. Best to ride them out!

Someday is every day...
I'm ready for 'someday' but am ready to first just relax on the deck for awhile while the boat is still at port, and let the rock and bob of the waves put me at rest. A little rest before facing the wind.

I think every someday has its challenges and all we can do is keep preparing as best we can and put it in God's hands.

My father was a sailor for many years, and had lots of adventures with his friends. After one particularly harrowing sail during a bad storm on the Gulf of Mexico, the friend he was with had a quote done in calligraphy and framed it as a gift: "The world is not interested in the storms you encountered, but did you bring in the ship?" It's so satisfying to answer, as they did, "Yes!"

on a warm spring day like today, escaping the city to sail would be blissful! Although I think my someday is everyday....
I believe I'm already living my "someday". Everyday is part of the journey.
I think that I am the type of person that greets a challenge with both excitement and respect. I can't imagine a day when I don't grow and stretch in some fashion--but that doesn't mean smooth sailing. In fact, it usually means choppy seas and a little nausea. Thanks for making me think. Mary
Such a great question, on top of a lovely post! I'm definitely headed into the uncharted waters, I would never be able to kick back later & relax if I didn't go exploring the unknown first. :)
