hot pots

I seem to have caught a cold and all I crave is a hot pot of freshly brewed tea.  I am in love with these snappy pots.  Blue and white has always been my favorite as there is something fresh and happy about it.  What sort of hot pot do you brew your tea in?
top pot is from hermes and bottom one found on pinterest

  1. Oh my.....lots of tea and rest!

I brew my tea in a white Juliska pot or a white porcelain pot trimmed in gold that I picked up at a thrift store. Hmmmm....all white. Not sure what that says about me.

Hope you're feeling like your best self soon!

  2. Good morning, dear friend! I hope a good pot of tea and some chicken soup will cure you soon!
These teapots are exquisite, I adore the top one. I have different ones, the one I use most often is a stainless steel teapot from Germany, which keeps the tea hot for a long time.
We have similar sniffing and coughing going on here
too.! I guess we pay the price for coming back from a warmer climate...
    TTYS!

BY the way: Your illustrations from the houses in your previous posts are gorgeous!

  3. Oh Patricia we have the same bug that is running around. I am wrapped in cozy robe, jammies, and having a cup of tea right now!

I love the first pot, a gorgeous design!

    Get well soon!

I heat my water in a Michael Graves teapot, then brew in the cup:O - I'm one of those lazy tea drinkers!

  8. Hope you feel better soon Patricia! Tea with lemon and honey is probably exactly what you need...I am more of a coffee person but I do love tea in a japanese tea pot that I inherited.

Hope you get some rest today and feel better!

  9. Oh dear! Yes, tea and rest - toast and jam are comforting, too. A little blue and white tea pot would cheer me right up, I think!
Hope you are set to rights very soon! XO

  10. A shawl around your shoulders, and a mug of tea with lemon and honey are very comforting.
Love that second teapot. We use a stainless steel and black teapot. Husband loves it, so I roll with it.
    Feel better soon!

  11. Do hope your feeling better soon. I make up a jug of lemon and honey or lemon and ginger, makes me feel better. I tend to use a fun TG Green tea pot, although I do love the bottom blue and white teapot.

I have a bright red teapot. I like the color it brings to the kitchen.

  15. I love my antique dark green pot with an iron handle. It says " Skanateles" in fancy gold lettering ( noe wearing thin) on it. That's a town in NY state and I got it as a kid in an antique/ junk shop. BUT....since I'm really lazy and always in a hurry I use a bag and a cup at the instant hot water faucet on the sink. I've got the big too so I've been drinking a lot of tea too.
