merry making
Let's hope each of you have had your fair share of making merry and a canape, crudite or cookie and a chance to don that christmas brooch or bow tie. I hear that the ubiquitous Christmas sweater is making a merry come-back with the fashionable younger generation. Fa la la la la la la la la. Do you have a merry holiday outfit or accessory that makes the rounds year after year, perhaps something tartan, velvet, brocade or sparkly and brand new? Spread some holiday cheer, why don't ya.

A red velevet button down top with black slacks and black velvet slippers. A favorite: my "JOY" pin comes out of the jewelry box to join the fun.
I love your illustration. How clever to illustrate up looking down. Love it!
Getting tooons of holiday mileage out of my new, navy velvet J. Brand mid-rise skinnies. Looove 'em!XXOO
I love wearing black velvet pants and anything red! Beautiful illustration....have a wonderful day!
I have heard about the Christmas Jumper making a come back, do love the Mulberry Pear - not quite up to the Bridget Jones jumpers of the past! I'll be in cream and sparkling crystal buttons, as an antidote to my normal black.
Black velvet lounge pants and a sapphire sparkly top has made the rounds this year and I've felt so festive. You are a wonderful artist!
Merry, merry! We spied a couple crazy Christmas sweaters at a party over the weekend-complete with battery operated lights!
I prefer something a bit more subtle...admittedly red PJs are my favorite holiday attire-- perfect for a family Christmas gathering! XO

In-laws arriving in less than 2 hours. Just about to start a pot of soup, light the candles and get the music going.
It has been a crazy, hectic 2 weeks...and I'm ready to just slow down and make merry!!!!

p.s. thank you so much for leaving your "calling card!"
J. Press red tartan pants. Every year, every party for 10 days. I always look forward to wearing them.
Oh fun post! Love your christmas party illustration too.
I always wear my mom's 1928 black garnet and gold earrings with her black velvet brocade scarf. She always wore a head-to-toe black seal fur coat {gasp} with a big brooch. I posted my kids attire for this year. Bambino baby boy will wear a classic cable-knit one piece. My hubby wants a scottish kilt get-up!! Have a great day!
I love this illustration, so fun and I feel the festive spirit!
