Bringing evergreens inside to adorn a table or a mantle spruces things up during the holidays.
Wearing a bit of holly green also looks fresh in a sea of red.
Racing green trousers look chic worn with neutrals.
A dark green knitted snood spiffs up winter whites.
Green or any sort of green is elegant all year long.
Do you have any evergreen items that you love?

I have a beautiful evergreen sweater that I love and we're surrounded by a forest of pines, the smell is heavenly!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the evergreen wreath hanging in our breakfast nook window that I'm gazing at right now. And an evergreen lace over black under-slip sheath dress hanging in the closet has been perfect for the holidays - especially paired with red shoes!
ReplyDeleteMerry Merry!
What a beautiful quote: "Elegance is good taste plus a dash of daring." It describes you so well Patricia!

I cannot get enough of green these days! I've been obsessed with wearing my green button swing dress with cream details. Love it. Also, thank you so much for your encouragement lately. It's been largely appreciated. Much love, Jolie
ReplyDeleteI'm always secretly hoping that Hunter Green makes a comeback. I loved it so much in the early nineties, and am forever wishing for it to return to it's former glory and become as classic as navy blue (as long as it's not paired with burgundy!).

Boxwood! I used to wrap my interior windows with boxwood garland and it was by far the most striking of all my holiday decor. And, I would make mini mini boxwood wreaths to go around the neck of a bronze horse statue and a li'l sterling hound figure I had. And, it all made the house smell so lovely...XXOO
ReplyDeleteGreen and white is oh so right! I'm craving this combination this year too. Love the image of the white coat and green scarf and what scent better than pine to conjure up the best holiday memories!
