grateful give-away

Each and every day I am grateful for many things.
Appreciative.  Blessed.  Grateful.
E-mails come in from past clients thanking me.
Many loyal customers return for more artwork,
Thankful to have the memories of these illustrations that I have worked on over the years and the many clients who love my work.
Really, folks it cannot get any better than that, doing what I love and feeling the love.
It is a gift to do what one loves.
Each work of art feels like taking one step in the right direction.
Skipping up the steps, singing, and whistling while I work makes me happy.
Feeling blessed, thankful, grateful and happy.
Happy Monkey Grass Hill. I can dream about having breakfast there and making jewelry with Julie.
A floral designer lives here and I would love to knock on her door with a special delivery.
This was a moving gift commission and I wonder who lives here now?  I feel so full of gratitude for all the work, the friends I have made while I work.  I am so very appreciative.  Thanks so much for all your kindness and support.  Happy Thanksgiving to each of you.

Leave a comment and on Thanksgiving day, one of you shall be randomly selected to win a "pve custom house commission!"  All you need to tell me is what you are most thankful for?  If you are a pve follower, thanks so much and if not, take the time to follow me here on my blog journey.

11-25-11  -Update; Winner is "Brooke Giannetti" from Velvet and Linen- randomly selected no.28

  2. I'm grateful for good health for family and for myself. Brother-in-law recently came out of a coma, granddaughter, 3 lbs at birth, healthy and (most of the time) happy (2 yrs old - that explains it), elderly parents still doing well, husband on the mend, sons just fine. Thankful for all of it.

  6. I'm thankful for life - it hasn't always been easy or fun, but in the end, I'm grateful to experience it all - the joy, sorrow, challenges, laughter, and pain. And most of all, I'm thankful for the beauty of the natural world that gives comfort above all else.

I'm thankful for so many things. My husband, friends and family. A roof over my head on a cold rainy morning. Coffee. And for all the wonderful, inspiring people I've met through blogging -- you for instance!

  13. Your drawings inspire us too, pve. I'm most thankful that my eldest son has been mercifully preserved while running special ops missions on his three deployments. Also that his 2yo brother provides a charming distraction while I deal with the older ones leaving the nest.

  32. I am thankful for leading a rich live. This past week I spent time with women in my community who arrived in the U.S. from their war torn and dangerous countries---from Somalia and Burma. Life is difficult for them, but they are working hard to be in America (it is not always easy- some of the women were not allowed to go to school in their country and a few of the women did not know how to write anything---even their names!) AND to be safe, to have a future for themselves and their children. I am enriched by these experiences and committed to find a solution to help these women create the life they wish for. Happy Thanksgiving to you. i enjoy your blog.
