house of orange

Something about the month of October that makes me want to bring some orange inside my house.
Rusty orange mums, orange cords, orange velvet and lots of pretty Autumnal orange touches to pack a punch.  Pumpkins carved as a vase, orange candles, orange pillows and orange knobs.  Does your house have any orange?

  3. Yes, totally feeling orange! As I look around, I think I only add it seasonally. It is a special fall touch that I adore!

  5. They are fabulous orange chairs. I have a splash of orange - a bouquet of autumnal flowers, adding a cheery splash of colour.

  8. Well yes, now that you mention it, burnt-orange was on my mind recently when I put a similar post on my blog:

It can be a pop of color or almost a neutral, depending on its use...

  9. This is lovely! And yes, I have pops of orange throughout my house. It's such a happy color. It was Kenny's favorite, so I had to really rein him in or we might have had an orange house.... ;-)
Orange and blue are so beautiful together, so I was always able to calm it down a bit!!!!

  13. I like a pop of orange pretty much year round, but you're right--it's so nice in the fall especially. I have a big Van Hamersveld Endless Summer framed in my sitting room--love how cheery it is with the pop of orange.
