Love this wall of paint swatches that look like they are about ready to fly.
Once my studio is ready to move into, I really want to make a palette of colors that I can play around with on watercolor paper and mount them on a wall.
When starting on a work, I could easily formulate a color palette by selecting flying colors.
The swatches look like a piece of art. I love all the fun colors. xo
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea plus beautiful to look at each day. I hope you are close to being done....I'm sure it's worth the wait though. Have a wonderful Monday!
ReplyDeleteGiven the number of little painting projects we're tackling at home, I have a number of walls covered in paint swatches and even a front door! Would love to have a rainbow of colors in my work space...

i'm inspired by one quick look of all these swatches. what would we do without color?
ReplyDeleteI used to love going to the hardware store with my parents, because they would just leave me to drool in front of the color swatches while they shopped. :) I still love color swatches. They're like candy for the eyes.
ReplyDeletePVE,
ReplyDeleteLove, Love, Love color and the color swatches are mini adventures each on their own. Oh the possibilities are really endless.
I need all of those colors! I keep using the same ones and need to "branch" out (a nod to your leaf post)

ReplyDeleteLOVE the water color swatches.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new studio when it's done!
Nice work, and most likely very helpful to other artists!
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to purchase a copy of the water color swatches? I'd love to have something similar in my wedding studio.
ReplyDeletewhat is the source for the watercolor color chart? Just curious because I created one just like it when I was in college, as do probably many college students, BUT they look to be the exact same colors in the palette, so I wondered if it was by some crazy coincidence if it was a chart by someone who had my same instructor.
