flying colors

Love this wall of paint swatches that look like they are about ready to fly.
Once my studio is ready to move into, I really want to make a palette of colors that I can play around with on watercolor paper and mount them on a wall.
When starting on a work, I could easily formulate a color palette by selecting flying colors.

  3. Given the number of little painting projects we're tackling at home, I have a number of walls covered in paint swatches and even a front door! Would love to have a rainbow of colors in my work space...

  12. I used to love going to the hardware store with my parents, because they would just leave me to drool in front of the color swatches while they shopped. :) I still love color swatches. They're like candy for the eyes.

  19. what is the source for the watercolor color chart? Just curious because I created one just like it when I was in college, as do probably many college students, BUT they look to be the exact same colors in the palette, so I wondered if it was by some crazy coincidence if it was a chart by someone who had my same instructor.
