knit wit

Today is the first day back at knitting after a Summer hiatus.  I wonder if I shall remember how to knit?
I guess it is like getting on a bike.
Love this witty "knit" bowl to hold my yarn.
I found it on pinterest.

  8. I don't think you ever forget how to knit, once you've learned. I first saw little yarn bowls like this for the first time about a year ago and have had them in the back of my mind. Your pretty picture reminded me of them. Perhaps it's time to "treat" myself to a little gift!
    Best (and happy knitting!)

  10. I've always wanted to learn to knit. I think its time I have my mom teach me. I mean like I really need another craft around my house, but hey it could be really fun!

  11. oh! we have so much in common! wish you lived here, we'd be fast friends! find me on Ravelry (StitchPoet) and if you like any of my patterns, let me know and I'll email them to you! You can probably make them all in your sleep, but as a knitter I know it is sometimes nice to not think! xov(kisshugstitch!)
