Oh that is so sad! I am dreading the day when my children are all grown up and leave home. With one starting university this year, those days are getting closer though! How old are yours?
i know the feeling!!! my "baby" brother just left for NYU last week and mom and i are having such a hard time!! i never realized what it feels like to be the one left at home, being the older sister! ;) we just have to focus on the good things--health and happiness! xoxo...
Awww! So cute. It's a weird feeling... A combo of how will we go on without them and thank goodness they're gone... PS Love those chairs! Hang in there, Jan
What a transition. You must be thrilled with their accomplishments and their journey thus far, but missing the heck out of them. My little Ellie is just going to 1st grade and the whole household is almost up in arms!
I'm glad I have your blog to go to when I'm needing some calm & creative energy. Keep up the great work and can't wait to see the progress of the renovations!
So bittersweet, Patricia!!! I know you are so excited for your sons, as they venture out on their own for the first time. But, I'm sure it's a little more quiet than you are used to.
Lots of bonding for you and your sweet girl.
Thinking of you and your current configuration of 3. xoxo e
The nest will feel empty for a while. Then life goes on. You are right girlfriends come. Then time spent with other friends. It is an amazing process. Thinking of you.

Aww, I feel a teardrop. What a transition. Now you and husband need a sassy convertible just for two ; )
I have yet to experience this, but it must be hard. Lots of love form across the ocean.
