The open door is the entry to my studio. We are aiming to be complete by mid October.
Above my studio window, there will be an arbor built to trellis a climber, a rose or some sort of blossoming flower. While we are a mere stone's throw from our completion of this project, I truly cannot wait to get to work! Thanks to each of you who are waiting for work. We take the next twin to his college this Thursday. Things are stacked in my favor for some assemblance of normalcy soon with the new school year upon us and a new home addition to settle into!

Beautiful! Ummm.... I think I found the perfect sign for your new studio, called "the studio". I love the stone. xo
I had no idea you were one of 7 as well, and I also have 3 brothers, I happen to be the 'baby' of the family so I learned a lot from all of them.
The studio is looking wonderful, I can not wait for the reveal!
looking great! Hope you'll give us a sneak peek when it's done!
Happy Monday!
It is fabulous!!!! Amazing, can't wait to see your set up studio, and studio time is just mere minutes away:)
Loving the direction you have gone to-looks beautiful! what a wonderful exterior to inspire you and no doubt the interior will be the same, I very excited for you. pgt
Patricia,
It looks so beautiful! You must be super excited with how it's coming along. Hope your boys had a good "drop off" and Mom too :)

Guess what I just found out? There's a climbing hydrangea! Charlotte Moss has one climbing a tree in the most recent Elle Decor. Unfortunately, the pic doesn't show it in bloom but, worth researching fer sure! XXOO
So exciting!..I cant wait to see it when you are moved in.
PVE,
New artistic beginnings and the ebb and flow of life continues. New addition looks so fantastic can't wait to see the concrete flooring.
How you set up and enjoy your new artistic space. If you
paint the ceiling the palest blue it feels like the sky above your head and we know with art the sky is unlimited.

I like this design. The interconnecting rectangular shapes create an interesting facade, while the white projecting second story area relieves the effect of too much stone.
Love the stacked stone. It's all coming together. Can't wait to see some more photos when you share them.

Very nice - love the look of the stonework.
that stone is gorgeous patricia.
Very beautiful, and I can just picture the climbing roses..gorgeous! I wish we lived closer so Eleanor could have an art lesson or two.
All is stacked in your favor for pure inspiration in the new studio. (sorry bad pun...working with too many words lately, ha ha haaa)
