fresh set

Nothing like a fresh box of Pelikan paints found here while in Chicago.
A great set for travel.
These are hard to find and I would highly recommend a set if you feel inspired to paint.
My old set has been loved for years.

  4. I'd say it was time for a new set....the old one makes me think of all the master pieces you have made. I imagine it's hard to part with them. Happy painting!

  5. I'm not sure which I love more -- a new box of paints filled with fresh possibilities, or an old one worn away with stories of projects and inspiration. A lovely set like this would be welcome om my desk!

  8. You'd be so proud of me Patricia. I bought some tubes of artist acrylic paints and I'm painting a rock for a needed porch door stop. Attempting Lilly P's cherry bomb print :)

  14. My grandmother was an artist and her paints always looked like yours- well used and loved. Brings back so many memories of when I would paint with her as a child!
