I knew that I wanted concrete floors for my art studio and I am so thrilled with my new floors. I shall be sharing images as we get closer to my studio being finished. The concrete flooring finishers were reluctant to take on a residential project as most of the work they do is commercial. Given the many choices, I am so pleased that I stuck with my original concept and am floored with my new polished concrete floors. Having seen up close pics I know you made a great choice.
Glad you stuck with your gut and followed through with your original selection. You will love the durability, character, and ease of cleaning that the floors will give, at least I know those are the main reasons I love ours!!
I am so excited to see some images of the space when you are ready to reveal it to the blog world. I will admit after going through the building process in front of the blog world I am a bit hesitant to share images of our space till it is 100%, I hope you are not as silly as me with sharing. ;)

A number of years ago, a creative friend of mine had them put in her kitchen/family room area. They were so practical and chic.

Love the clean look of concrete - especially in a studio! Having stood on concrete for 9 hours a day for the past 5 days I do recommend comfortable shoes or some kind on padding - my knees and feet ache!
