Coconut cake and jelly beans for the eyes and nose.
Look closely and see the little lamb on the counter. I spotted this image here last November.
Sandy, the owner of that sweet lamb lives here and she e-mailed me as in my comment I had left, "we made that lamb a white coconut cake at Easter and at Christmas it became chocolate Rudolph with a bright maraschino cherry for the nose."

i love it! one of my gal pals has the lamb cake mold. i will have to tell her the genius idea to make it a rudolph at christmas :)
Love a little lamp....and one topped with coconut and jelly beans would be the perfect Easter dessert.
Wishing you and your family a very happy, relaxing weekend!!!

Yum! I would love a little coconut cake and jelly beans, although the lamb cake could be just too cute to eat. And Rudolph too!
I hope that you and your family have a very happy and joy-filled Easter weekend. Have fun!

Looks so good! We are getting our Easter lamb every year around the corner from that wonderful bakery you know as well!
We all love their stuff!
Happy Easter to all of you!

what a beautiful mold. they don't make them like that anymore. our local antique shop has antique french chocolate molds that are truly works of art and cost thousands of dollars. i adore them. happy easter patricia.

I love the Rudolph with cherry for a nose idea!
Happy Easter! xx
My mom and grandmother used to make that same cake! I'd forgotten about it until now. What a lovely memory. Thanks!
I may have to revive the tradition for my children, but my baking skills aren't the best.
How charming! I would gladly tuck in to a piece of such a lamby cakey!
FYI your lamb mold is cast aluminum. I make on wtthmine every year. I even have 2 cast aluminum minis! Love your Rudolph idea!
My husband's grandmother had the same and all the birthday cakes for him and his brother when they were younger were the lambs! I made the same cake for my one-year old. He squealed with delight, then reached out and pulled the lamb's head off and smushed in his mouth. Yup, he became a chef!
I'd leave that wonderful little lamb out all year long so as to have a daily reminder of today's very special meaning...it's so sweet!
Wishing you and your family a perfect & lovely Easter weekend...

OMG that must have been so much fun to make a lamb cake. :-)
SO charming - I love the little jelly bean eyes. And what a versatile mold - turning into Rudolph. Wishing you and your family a lovely holiday!!
