city love

There is something about a city that inspires love even on a cold snowy day.
The city makes me feel alive and in love.
My heart races.
People love to flock to the city for love, for fashion, food, fortune and fame.
I came to New York during college for a co-op internship and fell in love with the city and my husband too.

Do you have a city you love?

  2. You're right. There's just something about a big city. Since I live in a small town, big cities are great places to run away to for a few days getaway.
    Best,

  5. Love NYC - in any season! Though it's hard to gaze upward at the fabulous architecture these days as the mounds of snow are a distraction.

  6. I love London for so many reasons. Paris is beautiful, Rome is vibrant, Sydney is fun but London's home.

  8. There is something so exciting about big cities that adds a spring to my step. I love Chicago, NY, and SFO. I don't thing I have enough room to even begin to list the cities across the big bay of water. xo

  19. PVE,

I find love in every city I visit. I've found that if I approach every city with an open heart the love gets returned.

  20. I love NYC, snow or sunshine, warm or cold. Delightful surprises and inspiration around every corner... I had such a lovely time visiting with you in the city -- hope to come back soon. Of course, Seattle in the sunshine isn't bad either! XX

  21. That's so fun. I love to hear that. My husband and I are both in love with New York City too. We started going there when we were dating and this was the first year we have missed visiting in November in 23 years. It made me really sad. Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comment on my little blog update. Have a great weekend. Mona

  23. I do love NYC... I spent 21 years living in Boston and love it, too. But NYC never ceases to wake-up all of my senses and renew a sense of wonder and excitement. It was my city growing up in CT... just a train ride away. Love.

  24. I fell head over heels for NYC when I visited a couple of months ago, its incomparable and I literally can't wait to return and plan to frequently. My next favorite US city is Chicago, i love cities that have rich history and great architecture. Barcelona is the next city I'd like to explore....

  25. I am so missing NYC! We live for now anyway in southern California and every day people say to me "I'll bet your glad your missing the New York winter." well actually we kind of feel like we are missing out. 73 and sunny every day is nice, but a little overrated.
