Boy George

Today we celebrate President George Washington's Birthday. I think I will go out and celebrate....and spend a bit in honor of our boy George. One dollar for your thoughts as to how you are celebrating this day. I wonder what he was looking at when this image was created. I guess smiling for the camera was not in vogue.

    I'm thinking about visiting Geroge's boyhood home. It is about 5 miles from my house and they are having a lot of festivities there today. :-)

    You'll have two days to celebrate. His birthday is tomorrow, which happens also to be the first International Be A Gentleman day.

    In honor of our President... I'm spending a relaxing day at home. Paint. Read. Repeat. And maybe spending a dollar or two at the flower stand down the street.

    Oh, I love good ole George! Guess who else's birthday it is today...my sweet husband, Grant! Poor guy though b/w driving us home from VT and conference calls....it hasn't been very relaxing for him.

    I think Saturday will be his belated celebration. Hope you enjoyed your "day off"!

    Spent the day with the family at the park in our gorgeous 76 degree, sunny weather. Absolutely perfect way to spend the Holiday:)

    He never smiled because of his false teeth...they were made of all sorts of things, not just wood, and they were very painful, poor man.
    I had to work a bit today...but it was with a friend so it was nice!
