It is cold outside and there is snow on the ground and I have
cold feet just looking at this image. What sorts of remedies cure your cold feet? Dancing, warm socks, hot baths?
Snow day here today. Off to assist in shoveling the driveway with cold feet but warm heart!
snow day here, too! Love this photo....brrr....xo
ReplyDeleteWarm socks. While I am out shoveling, I put my comfy clothes (socks included) in the dryer. They are warm and ready when I am.
ReplyDeleteHeather-
ReplyDeletestay warm and show us your photos of today!

Warm Socks & Slippers.
ReplyDeleteBut it is my hands that are always cold!
It's lovely though!! Happy snow day!
ReplyDeleteHot chocolate!!
ReplyDeleteHow about a nice foot massage after you help with the driveway? That would be a great reward!

My wet boots go right on the vent by the front door when I come in. Then the next time I'm ready to venture out, they are all dry and toasty.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Susan
Lots of snow here and a snow day too. Love the idea of socks in the dryer. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteColleen
what a delightful image, pve!
ReplyDeletebut it does kinda make my toes ache ... ooch.
wool is definitely the way to go for your tootsies ...
wool to warm and wick away any moisture!
have a happy snow day ~

Warm socks for sure. Shhh... we have been lucky some snow, but not compared to you. Enjoy your snow day! xo
ReplyDeleteI'm a warm sock girl. Enjoy the snow day!
ReplyDeleteMy dog sprawled out over my feet always helps tremendously. She's a little hot cake! Stay warm Patricia.:) We have snow here as well!
ReplyDeleteH.H.
What a wonderful, magical photo!
ReplyDeleteI have a pair of Wellington boots that are leather lined, they are the warmest, driest footwear ever. The snow may be just to the top of them today but my feet remained dry and warm as I shoveled, filled the birdfeeders and showered the snow on myself shaking off the evergreens.
Dancing in these boots is highly recommended.
Enjoy your snow day!
I invested in some sheepskin slippers for inside and some sheepskin lined boots for outside. This has made the world of difference during cold snaps.
ReplyDeletehow pretty... I always tuck my feet under my husband - he is an angel and even lifts up so I can get then in there better.
ReplyDeleteHappy Snow Day!
Cashmere socks, especially for sleeping. Life can't be all cashmere, but your socks? Definitely. I like these best.
ReplyDeleteI love my fuzzy socks from Life is Good. They are the best! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteYou are getting pummeled and still -it seems to have missed us yet again. We got about 1 inch - a pretty dusting. Nothing like curling up with a soft throw and watching a movie with a cup of tea in my book.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr....is right. Shoveled the front walk, then joined a neighbor for morning coffee. My feet were freezing on the way home. But nestled inside in my socks....my toes are warm again. I think just little breaks indoors is the cure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!
Just back inside after 2 hours of shoveling through all that snow! Well, just like you I guess, unless you send the boys...
ReplyDeleteIsn't this a lovely image? I thought of your daughter...
But I try to keep warm feet with woolen socks and a crackling fireplace!
And toe warmer are my last resort!
xoxo V.
for cosy toes, I'd recommend thick cashmere socks after a long soak in a bath. Alternatively dancing around the house works wonders too!
ReplyDeletePVE,
ReplyDeleteWarm socks, fleece blanket, hot green tea (decaf) and fresh cold orange slices. Perfect to weather any storm!
Bette
Still snowing here...off to shovel again! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot!! Today reminds me of when I was a kid with snowdrifts that went above my head. My mother was a champion igloo maker - it was fabulous!! As for feet - socks + slippers do me fine.
ReplyDeletethick fleecy socks with REAL slippers instead of ballet slippers:)
ReplyDeleteBut what an amazing shot! It must be worth the cold feet. Than again, easy for me to say sitting in fromt of the heater ;-)
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I am wearing socks now even down here in South FL. It's supposed to drop down into the 30's here tonight. Keep those tootsies warm, PVE! xx
ReplyDeleteThick loose socks. As Stefan said - we only got a dusting. Still waiting for our fun snowstorm to come along!
ReplyDeleteWarm, fuzzy socks do the trick for me. Carla
ReplyDeleteshoveled herre too - 3 snowstorms since Christmas - yikes - feels like Switzerland over here.
ReplyDeleteHey, thank you for visiting our blog, and for your kind words! Sisters are the best :) your artwork and blog are beautiful, we will have to keep following!
ReplyDeletesuch a pretty photograph! I always get a little sad looking at ballerinas. My daughter was in a preprofessional company and quit cold turkey. it killed Ben and me. killed us. but of course we could never tell her that.
ReplyDeletewe worry more about keeping our feet cool than warm here in texas.
It is so cold here that even in sub-zero snow boots, my feet were a tad cold yesterday. Maybe I should try toe-shoes.
ReplyDelete-Rene
That girls toes must be freezing!
