I have always admired the special touches and those that can rally to create or mimic a special setting for youngsters. There is something wonderful about setting a little christmas table for children. Do you set a little christmas table for wee ones or do you dine at one big table?
This is so pretty. We always sat at one large table. However, my daughter did always have a small table with two small chairs in the kitchen where she did artwork. I still have them and use the little table as a side table on my front porch. I'm hoping someday she'll want them back!

Lovely! Sometimes we have a kids table but never so lovely as this. I would love the ghost chairs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to you and your family!
When I entertain I have everyone sit together on around the same table. xo
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! We used to back when the kids were younger and we didn't have the room.
ReplyDeleteWe all dine together, but let me say that if that was the kids table when I was little I think I would still be sitting there, that is amazing!
ReplyDeleteAny wee ones would love to dine at these tables. Adorable! Happy weekend. xx
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! Now that our kids are out of high chairs and boosters, we added a kids table for Thanksgiving the first time. We'll likely do it again for Christmas, since we'll have more kiddos around. :)
ReplyDeleteIt brings memories of being at those miniature tables for many years-2 large families and lots of cousins. I do remember occasionally landing a spot at THE table-and that was very exciting. Nothing is prettier than the white with red touches-this scene is a winner. pgt
ReplyDeleteWe all sit together - I have a ridiculously long dining room table. The kids table I sat at when I was a kids wasn't nearly this chic!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. We haven't had a kids' table at Christmas since my brother, cousins and I were small... this year is the first Christmas for my little niece... maybe one day there will be a kids' table for her and her possible siblings and cousins!? Who knows what the future will bring! Jeanne
ReplyDeletePS: Just ordered a Diane James candle...perfect New Year's hostess gift!
We kind of all eat together at a few different tables, chairs, and sofas--at least for our Christmas Eve Family Party.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love that little table..so adorable. Our kiddos have always sat at the big dining room table. And they love it there too. We don;t have hug families so there is room but if we did not have room...I think kiddie tables can be even more fun!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I adore the children's table - we laugh about it all the time. Our parents and aunts and uncles relegated all the youngsters to a children's table well inot our adulthood and we loved it! We finally started our own "mademoiselle table" for pur combined three little ladies this past Thanksgiving. My sister, the hostess, was inspired by french bistros - it was marvelous!
ReplyDeleteI have to use two big tables to fit everyone in. The kids have just always been part of it all. Carla
ReplyDeleteWe had a kids table but we all wanted to sit with the adults. Of course our table was not as cute as this!
ReplyDeletei love this! so pretty! when we do holidays at my moms house, she always does a separate table fixed really cute.
ReplyDeleteBaby ghost chairs, how fabulous!!! That's a chic kiddie table:)
ReplyDeleteHow cute is this? We all dine at the same table, but I would happily be a kid and sit at this chic set-up!
