glitter and gold

Every time holiday parties start, I wish I had a little glittery sparkly sequin cardigan to add to my holiday wardrobe. Just look at the mix of sequin fashions here. Chic with jeans or slim trousers, non?

    LOVE that sparkling cardigan - would go with everything! And Phillip Lim is one of my favorites. My splurge this year was one of the little knitted fur vests - not glittery but festive!

    Sparkly tops and Christmas are a perfect pair and I have a Michael Kors sequin tank that comes out for one month every year. But would love to have that Stella McCartney long sleeve t-shirt - just fabulous!

    Clearly, we are thinking along the same sequined lines today!!! My favorite little piece is my gold sequined skirt from J. Crew. Coupled with black tights and a black turtleneck...I'm festive, yet warm!!

    hi patricia,

    i have a little black cashmere cardi that has rhinestone buttons and a wide silk ribbon that ties at the waist. i have had this sweater for at least 10 years, maybe longer. i wear it from thanksgiving to christmas with skinny black pants or a pencil skirt or my favorite jeans. i adore it, it is my holiday favorite.

    I prefer a burgundy velvet tunic w/a black skirt and tights. Although with the frigid temperatures we are having, I might don a dressy pair of black slacks.

    Having a favorite outfit for the holidays is a great way to feel festive for a full month into the new year. Love the sparkle and I have my favorites I love wearing also.
