turkey buster

not me, but love this image~
Today, I played tennis and had a one hour "turkey buster" work-out! Enter the holiday season and lots of calories. This season, remind yourself to "earn it." Eat for nourishment. Work-out for your heart and good health. Drink plenty of water. Eat all your veggies and fruits. Limit your sugars and load up on healthy fresh snacks, crudite, raw nuts and sparkling waters.

Will you be turkey busting or basting?

  1. I'll be busting -- I'll leave the basting to my mom :-) Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. So funny! I am fortunate in that my yoga teacher is holding class tomorrow at 8:30 - so first I'm going to bust it and then I'll basting it!

Happy Thanksgiving, Patricia, to you and yours!

  7. I don't eat turkey so as long as there is plenty of veggies I'm ok. My first walk into the woods, up the hills down the hills today instead of the flat trail with heavy boots and big parka should count for extra with the weight. I wasn't able to walk the distant I wanted but better than nothing. Many blessings... my friend! xo

  10. Patricia,
    Oh we know that's you...
I am usually busting WHILE I am basting, meaning I am usually busting out a Christmas song using a wooden spoon as my microphone while I am basting the turkey!
Wishing you and yours a joyous Thanksgiving also.

  11. Thanksgiving was about cooking and (not over) eating. Today (friday) will include 45 minutes on the elliptical trainer. Reggie is determined to lose weight this holiday season, not gain it.

  12. I was just catching up on your posts today, since I've been in your neck of the woods at my ancient parents beck and call. I did get to slip out and take some pictures of my parent's friend's playhouse. Since you are a tennis player, you will get a kick out of it. Alas my fierce game has been hung up for hot Yoga, it keeps me moving.
    Best,
    Liz
