feathering the nest

I love feathers.
Turkey feathers to be exact.
Feather beds, down-filled feather pillows and feathering the nest for the holidays.
Fall foliage, golden acorns and plumage added to compose a wonderful wreath,
adds a natural elegance to any door.
or to one's headress

I would be tickled to wear this on Thanksgiving day!

Tell me - are you busy feathering the nest for Thanksgiving?
Wishing each of you a Happy Thanksgiving.

  9. Patricia- What gorgeous feather images!

Except for the strutting preschool turkey with construction paper feathers on the frigde, our home will skip all Thanksgiving decorations as we will be feasting elsewhere.

  10. Love that feathered headband.
We are feathering the nest here with good food, candles, and music.
But most importantly for us it's not the amount of chairs, but who is sitting on the chairs.

Best wishes for a lovely Thanksgiving with family.
