Just when I told you I was signing off for the weekend, this book called my name and I had to share it with you. I just picked it up "to read" for the weekend. You do know that I have a secret passion for illustrating homes and for finding perfection in each one. I bought a copy of this book for my "real estate" friend who is always telling me about "this house" and "that house." If you have a secret obsession for creating a perfect home then you will love this book.
Every house should have a hidden room for reading and laughing out loud. From my perfect home to yours, have a perfect weekend.

Meghan Daum is a wonderful Writer. I like her witty style. Although I am not in the market to purchase a house,(already have one) I think I will buy this book for the chuckles she will provide - of that I am certain.

I've read quite a few thumbs up from design bloggers about this book, I think I have to add it already on my to-buy list and get it the next time I go to a bookstore.

I agree with Stacey at Quintessence. We love home, not to make a grand statement, but to wrap around our friends and family. I have been known to spend hours at real estate sites in France, Italy, Savannah, Santa Barbara and on..and on.. Its the Taurus in me, I love it all which is why I do this.
