Hello PVE: I love jewelry that emulates nature. While Buccellati is not within my budget, I always walk in to see the beautiful leaves and thistles he forms into magnificent pins, earrings etc.. I love the symbol of the acorn, it evokes transformation unfolding over time and a sense of change combined with continuity. Your friend's work is simplicity itself, yet sends a powerful message. I will put it up on my noteworthy giveaway page, that I've finally managed to update. Oh, and I would love one of each! There is no choosing, they are all wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Liz
Definitely mahogany, makes it look so authentic and I love the symbolism of the acorn!
ReplyDeletePatricia, how wonderful I love them all, would choose the pearl Acorn design!!

Oh I adore acorns! I live on Oakwood Avenue and so it has become a theme for my home (Splendid Oak) and myself. If I had to choose- I like the pearl best.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe that there isn't a little 'oak' bauble too.
For me the mahogany is truly unique and would be a lovely treasure to wear.

could be happenstance
if I somehow did win
I would jump and I'd dance!
Brown, pink or white
all would be a delight
but if I have to choose
then the brown couldn't lose!
These are just so charming and so easy to wear. Would go with just about everything. Unlike many who have posted, for me the choice is easy - mahogany!! The closest thing to oak.

Although I love pearls, I would choose the mahogany obsidian as it looks most like an acorn. And even if I don't win I've favorited her Etsy store of lovely jewelry.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this fantastic giveaway.
Acorns and oak leaves are my favorite. I'd love the mahogany obsidian best, because it looks most like the real deal, but that pearl runs a close second. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIs the third one rhodochrosite? They're all beautiful. Not sure which I'd pick. Thanks for introducing us to her jewelry.
ReplyDeleteI like the pearl.
