Art actually rules my life. I mean that in a good way. When you find something that you are passionate about and then try to set your own rules to your life, it is then that you are in fact making changes to live the life you want.
I do have a kindred spirit in you! And Chris! Will have to check that out, too. I wish to say a very special thank you to you. I came across something you wrote on a comment on another blog about this very subject and myself, I was greatly touched and it was totally unexpected. I will always remember it.
I love that idea of setting your own rules. I never thought about it that way. It is a direct expression of who we are as a person, it is freeing to do exactly what you want to do:)
Since I am not an artist, I don't know if I can say art rules my life the same way it does yours, but I can certainly say that aesthetics rule mine - my life is totally consumed by visual and intellectual aesthetics - absolutely!
