A client came to me with a special request for artwork of a home where she had been a house guest. What a lovely way to say thank-you. If you have stayed in hotels lately, one quickly finds out just how expensive they can be. If you have had the pleasure of being a guest and need a custom hostess gift, why not thank your family or friends with something they will cherish long after you have left. The gift of art lives on to be admired by the host and future guests for years to come.

That is just the sweetest thank you gift I can think of! What a thoughtful friend for sure!
Gorgeous and such a perfect gift!
LEB-
I have a baby gift to give and I am thinking of illustrating the babies name or initials as a gift.
I always remind myself that I can give my art rather than spending hours shopping and never finding quite the special item that will last for years to come.
Artwork stands the test of time.

Frau-
You need to have your home illustrated to mark your welcome home to America!

A beautiful rendering of a lovely home.
A fantastic idea! I bet this hostess was pleased as punch!
What a great idea! Anyone would love that gift. Carla
Can you ask her if she needs to stay in Nashville?
That's a wonderful idea! Such thoughtful house guests. Terrific art also, have I said I love you blog:)
You are so right! A friend gave me a post card sized painting of my house, It was so personal and sweet! I will always cherish that little missive. Also, my girlies painted our house, did wood-cuts, etc.. and recorded special nooks. My third girl is starting to draw and wonders if it is too late for her to try her hand at art, at the age of 19. It is never too late to practice a new interest. While my girls are leaving the nest, I'm at the same stage of starting my new career with them. Now that they are gone, we are all together, plotting our paths.
Cheers,
