number cruncher

I am married to a number cruncher. When the time comes to check my accounts, he can be ruthless, right down to the penny. As an artist, I think that it is downright wild how some can get all the math skills. Somehow having this bag, seems to alleviate any stress that I might anticipate prior to his number crunching rath.

I found her needlepoint Countess here, and she comes in a black combo too.
(The logical part of the equation is that it is on sale but the black combo is ten dollars more)
Which one do you like? The green combo or the black?
Bamboo handles on both.

  1. I am always amazed by people with wicked math skills. It's an art form seeing and making the right connections with all those numbers.
My accountant is my personal hero.

  2. Isn't it hard to create the "perfect" studio. I am now at that point that i believe a studio must evolve on itself. Start with the basics and let it grow. It has to be like a big comfy sweather that wraps around you.
I'll be looking forward to seeing your studio.

  6. This post is too funny!! When someone ask me a math questions I reply with 'I went to art school, how should I know?!' The fact that math was not required as a relief at 18.

  9. Too funny - I just ordered a yoga top with numbers on it! As a former banker, I love numbers and this bag would make one look very "accountable". Thanks for the heads up about Colour me Happy!

  11. I am sure I'm dyslexic when it comes to numbers so I always find it handy to have someone around who isn't..... but I don't think maths and creativity go hand in hand... that's my excuse anyway ! I'm sure they use different parts of the brain or something...

  14. I think the green bag is you. My english/philosphy/lawyer/ former trust banker now chief investment officer husband is the number guy. He balances our checkbook to the penny. I call him Mr. Paper Man. Every couple needs to have a paper person. I am glad he's the one and not me.

  15. I work with a bunch of writers and whenever we get together for lunch we are a ridiculous sight when it comes time to figure out the tip. Thank God for the number crunchers in our lives who keep us all balanced out!

I've been crunching the numbers around our home, lately...trying to exercise that part of my brain.

I love the green bag, which surprises me because I usually end up liking the more expensive option. Maybe number crunching is starting to pay off for me!

I'm not a number cruncher, but I could do the green...

  17. I use the right side of my brain alot more than my left. This means my math skills aren't as sharp as I would like them to be. But I'm a good Socializer! ;)
