Yes, today is "Earth day" - and I happen to be armed and at the ready. A dear friend turned me on to these bags. "
Mothering Mother" Earth is a good thing by saving and not wasting. Simply have these stowed away in your shopping bag to conveniently have on hand for storing produce.
Now
they can be yours too, all you need to do is leave a comment and promise me that you are Mothering our Mother Earth today on Earth day.
~A winner shall randomly be selected and announced in friday mornings post.
Patricia,
ReplyDeleteI mother the Earth! I use my recycled bags everywhere...not just the grocery store! Great idea for produce!
Hamptontoes,
ReplyDeleteThanks for mothering not just your family but our mother Earth!

I mother the Earth! My twin boys (turning 4 on Monday; where did the time go?) have already learned that we "Don't Waste Water!" and when I ask what we are doing when we recycle, they say "SAVE THE EARTH!" Reusable produce bags have been on my list of things to get, so I've got my fingers crossed. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI mother our Earth by buying most of my food organic, grown in a responsible way that won't harm either the Earth or its wildlife.
ReplyDeletePatricia, I've been doing posts on Earth Day this week. In one of them I used the same phrase, without knowing it had been done.
ReplyDeleteLove the shopping bags, think we should be forced (by guilt) to shop this way. What a brilliant giveaway. Now I'm going to ETSY to see your work. Marsha
I believe! When I'm surrounded by those on my block that do not put out recycling it makes me nauseous. It's a battle here but I keep on. I noticed that even at our High School sporting events that there are no trash bins for recyclables, like plastic bottles and cans. I wrote a note to the Principal with a suggestion to lead by example for the kids to follow.
ReplyDeleteThanks to you too for Mothering our Earth!
It is a great giveaway Patricia. I am loving going green!!

ReplyDeleteMothering our Earth is one of my (if not my biggest) passions in life! Earth Day is like Christmas for me!
ReplyDeleteI have an orange bag in my purse that I whip out in a pinch and these are great too!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea that Earth Day is celebrating its 40th anniversary - we have come a long way, but we still have so much to do.
ReplyDeleteI remember with such fondness that first Earth Day. I was in your neck of the woods. We have done so much and come far- but there is still so much of the journey before us. Small steps turn into big changes~ one at a time. It's a beatuiful day!
ReplyDeletePatricia I pinky swear to mother our earth not only today, but daily. I actually recyle bags use natural products, grow a garden etc...
ReplyDeleteLove the bag! I am forever trying to remember to bring mine when I go to the grocery! First thing my 8 year old said today...Mom, don't wash any dishes today...it's Earth Day. Glad he's into the spirit, but I'm washing anyway.
ReplyDeleteI always use my bags for grocery shopping and a whole host of other things. In fact, I gave personalized grocery bags to family last Christmas (from a great Etsy shop). Always buy organic, hit the farmer's markets in season, cage free eggs, etc. Try to do my little part. These produce bags are a great idea! I've never seen them before.
ReplyDeleteFun bags! The munchkins and I are planting plants, flowers and a tree in honor of our Earth today! Have a super day, Patricia!
ReplyDeleteYes, Mother Beautiful Mother Earth. I recycle, use natural care products, and carry my own
ReplyDeletenon-plastic bags when shopping.
Mother Earth gave us a beautiful
place to live.
