Another fun giveaway, an "Amy Butler" pattern to sew this fun "frency bag" for Spring. I like to plan ahead and think of Spring in the midst of Winter. Leave me a comment and a winner will be randomly selected for this pattern!
Your blog is such a joy to read! And your illustrations are a delight to the eye. Such a joy on this frigid winter eve. Looking forward to a daily dose of pve.
I adore Amy Butler bags, but please don't add my comment to the selection (because I can't sew to save my life). Just had to say that a friend gave me one of these patterns when I first became a mother, and fortunately another friend (who's an expert seamstress) made it for me, out of fabric that I picked, and it has been one of my favorite diaper bags ever since. Sturdy, stylish and well-designed.
To Preppy 101- Thanks for your kind words and for following my blog, your things are wonderful too. I hope you survived the holiday madness. pve
Maia, I used to sew but my life is too busy but there is something very therapeutic about it, perhaps the hum of the machine, the thread, the putting pieces together, much like a puzzle. Hope your New Year is happy. pve
Shell8689- aww, we can all use a breath of fresh air! now breathe it in! thanks for your kind comments- pve
La maison fou- I know that bag brings would be a great! So do you sew too> pve
Unfortunately, I am trrible at sewing, but this is a great give-away for someone with more skills than I! Hope you are feeling back to your spunky self! xo
So glad you're feeling better, PVE. That Slim Aarons photo is to die for... Oh, to have the luxury of spending a day in bed (you know you're getting old when you need to add "by oneself") surrounded by books and tea!
I noticed on Melissa C. Morris' blog that you created their Xmas card this year. How fun!
Much love to you. You always inspire, always delight...xx
Would love to meet up in NY if we can find a convenient time! We'll be in Woodstock first, heading down to the city on the 13th. We'll be in the city until the 17th.
I have just recently discovered the joy and fun of Amys Bags and am eagerly awaiting my pattern to arrive here (Australia) from the US of an Amy bag pattern. Could be the start of a beautiful friendship as I also found her blog just yesterday :) Lovely give-away and great artwork!! What a pleasure your blog is! Irene x Irene
