qautre saisons

A recent commission for a friend and neighbor envisioned her holiday card showing her lovely home in all the seasons.
I love knowing that Spring is the next season in line.
Ah, Summer, one of my favorite seasons, I do love summer time, fireflies and the warm weather.
Autumn enters with cooler air, crisp apples, colorful leaves and lots of raking, and Fall celebrations. Hay rides, harvests, halloween and a display of pumpkins and costumes.

Which season is your favorite? I sincerely hope that each season brings you JOY!

  10. I don't have a particular favorite. I love the intensity of all four seasons. Although my banner depicts purple flowers, I also love a roaring fire. :)

Well captured! This is so very nice!

For me: I love winter last, since cold and I have nothing in common, but spring through autumn, YES!

  14. This is a fantastic idea!

I love all of the seasons...just when I think I'll be sad to see one go, I get excited for the next. "Aw...the leaves are all off the trees. So sad. Wait -- is that snow?! Awesome!"

Fall is my favorite season - I love the coziness of sweaters and the smell of cookies baking in the oven.

  18. Oh Debra, I wish I could say that I am complete, but there are still some projects that I have yet to finish.
I feel like an artist with babette's feast staring at me. My eyes are bigger than my stomach.

  19. Patricia,

That is so beautiful!! What a special card! Thank you so much for sharing those. Fall is my personal favorite - I love a day that is just cool enough to have a chill in the air, but not cold enough to need a heavy coat!

  20. Such stunning illustrations Patricia! I'm a Summer girl through & through, the hotter the better. That's why I live in the coldest, wettest village in South Australia!
