gathering

I love gathering greenery and filling containers. Branches, pine-cones, magnolia leaves and lights are a lovely way to begin the holiday season without trying too hard. Plus, the added bonus of the smell is wonderful too. What are you busy gathering?

    The crumb and I are gathering eucalyptus branches (for her teepee).

    I am a gatherer, every time we go for a walk I bring branches, twigs, leaves, fruits and flowers. Love to see them, smell them.
    Nature at home, yes!

    I enjoy gathering the leaves in my yard from Liquid Amber trees. They smell wonderful right about now. I love doing a little bit of gardening during the fall into winter you get another feeling from nature...restful.

    It's cold and raining in Maine. I wish I could see a magnolia leaf.
    I love those trees, grew up with them .

    I imagine you made that pretty arrangment.
    Maybe gather rose hips when it warms up.

    I love to do that as well but find it hard to find things here in Houston. Back home in Washington State I would walk out my front door & gather holly, pine branches, nobles fir branches, box wood; I was so spoiled for decorating for the holidays.

    I'm gathering my wit to deal with yet another rainy day here. Everyday in the month of Nov rain! Ugh! But I'm gathering pine branches in hope to have my fake tree smell real. Have a wonderful weekend.

    Piles of black dog hair that have seemingly made their way into every crevice of my house...that's what I'm gathering! :-)
