early morning

The early morning light is the most wonderful light. Ushering in a leisurely morning walk, the warmth of the golden light, a fresh start to the day. I have always been an early riser and now that it is dark by five o'clock, I become anxious for the morning light to rise.
Are you an early morning person or a night owl?

  1. Hi Patricia

So happy for you that you were part of the exhibit...I am definetely a morning person and am happy to be at the computer alone this morning, coffee in hand, perusing and seeing what my fave people are up to! Enjoy your Sunday!

  3. I agree, not much beats the light of early morning. I have always been an early riser and have trouble staying up past 10!

  4. This is a hard decision: I am a night owl, some of my best thinking is done after 11 PM... but then again, I love the quiet early mornings, especially in the summer, when at 5 AM the birds start chirping and the night changes from dawn to early morning light. From blue-gray to rose!

  5. Love to rise really early I've found my natural clock. Asleep by 9:50 pm awake at 4:00 am automatically no alarm clock needed. Head out for a run/walk back home for breakfast and start of my day.

  6. Definately an early riser...the best part of the day. We've cut greens and more berries, arranged an outdoor planter, gone to the market and I've had my last scooter ride for the season. Two soups on the stove...pretty good so far. Hope you're having a good Sunday.

  7. I love early mornings but I have always been a night owl (my mum says even while she was pregnant, hah!) which is a problem.

  8. I adore the morning. Something about the quiet of my house before the chaos ensues. By night I am just ready to sleep. Love the painting, it's stunning.

  9. Is that one of your own paintings? Incredible, so beautiful.
Morning light is so lovely but actually here in the middle of Ireland it is the evening light that is most magical, it's quite unlike anywhere else I have been.

  12. Earlier these days, I have tried to "keep the same hours" that I did before the time change while everyone else has adjusted. More time for me in the morning, heaven.

  17. No, this is not my painting but one that I would like to try my hand at. I have saved it for a few years. There was not artist reference.

  21. This work of art is amazing. Absolutely full of brightness and lightness! I am more of a night owl, and subsequently in the real world do not get enough rest. * note to self go to bed earlier!
