hens deliver

I am so in love with these floppy flowers, emersonmade.

Yes, it is true, roosters crow and hens deliver. I'll bet my hand on this pretty little hen and count my chickens to have my very own emersonmade flower to pin on a fall lapel. The photos are so sweet and speak to my inner farm girl. How about you? Would you pin a big flower on for fun while gathering eggs,
or walking down an aisle?
How about a blossom, by emersonmade?

  8. Just bookmarked the site - this is so cool. I have a habit of wearing flower pins - the bigger the better. These are the biggest I've seen!

  9. How can you not like an ad with a woman in a dress holding a chicken?

These are really adorable. I wonder what they are made of to account for the price?

  14. My mother wears a huge red silk flower my father bought her at Dior in Paris in the 1970's. It works with every jacket from tweed to cotton she owns. I find it very chic! Invest and you will be shocked by its longevity.

  21. there is so much to that first image ...
i love the look on the chicken's face AND the look on the girl's face ~ she nearly looks like she is about to burst ~ and the 'love among the chickens' book ... and of course, the bloom is quite bold ...
the best part is going to their site and seeing just how much fun is going on ...
    thanks for sharing the fun!

  22. I absolutely WOULD wear an absurdly large bloom like this! I love 'em!

Unfortunately, I'm of a body unbalanced: too bulky on top, not a flat tummy, but a way too flat bottom. Boo-bottom-hoo:(

So, I would keep it simple up top and pin the blossom to my backside.

I adore chickens. Had them as pets while growing up. I would have them now if they weren't so vulnerable. I get more soft hearted all the time and couldn't bear their passing (and I'm talking from natural causes, not because they would be on the dinner table. Never!)
