My roses are beginning to bloom.
They love to ramble and roll.
My sweet father-in-law rigged up this suspension wire.
Each Spring, I wait in suspense for my roses.
Are you feeling my bliss. Take time to stop and smell the roses.
I do each time I pull into my garage. I also look for the birds in that big nest.
I think they may be Mockingbirds.
So pretty! I on the other hand have killed many a rose bush. Not so much of a green thumb, unfortunately. But I have managed to keep my peonies alive. They are ready to burst! Can hardly wait.
ReplyDeletegorgeous! I've always wished that I had a green thumb.
ReplyDeleteThe first rose bloom is always the best isn't it?

Gorgeous! I love the way they drape over your garage! Mine are blooming too and mostly coming to a close now, but so glorious while it lasted!
ReplyDeleteLovely! A perfect spot for roses.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love climbing roses!
ReplyDeleteYour climbing roses are beautiful. That first photo shows their intricate folds and yet simple beauty. How fortunate to have roses making a home on your home. I know you enjoy their exquisite beauty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the suspension rod- what a clever man your Dad-in-law is. So sweet that the birds have chosen to come live among your roses. What a splendid tree house!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately my roses are finished with the first big bloom. They are so glorious when they are in full bloom. We have a precious little robin that is sitting on her nest in a climbing hydrangea on a narrow ledge over the garage. We leave the doors open now because it upsets her when they open and close.
ReplyDeleteMockingbirds AND climbing roses??? I would never get out of that car! two of my favorite little things in life.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful roses. I am so excited to see them each year - it is as if it is for the first time. xv
ReplyDeleteroses and singing birds...your art filled life has even spread to your garage. love the soft shade of pink.

ReplyDeleteI love your climbing rose bush, Patricia. It looks so beautiful the way it's spreading over the garage. What kind of rose is that? It's such a delicate blush color. Your yard looks so pretty and green.
