lucky red

A lucky red watering can to shower red strawberries.

Lucky red doors for a wedding with red flowers, red lips, and red sling-backs.
Red rose petals strewn down the aisle.
Whenever I spot a red truck, I think of a dear blog buddy who has a dream of having a lucky red truck to shower goodies all about.
"Special delivery" for me!  If you know this gifted person, she has a way of spreading goodness. It sure would be fun to have a lucky red truck - to deliver gifts!

photo from "A Gift Wrapped Life" - love this wrapping!
Just knowing that there was something being delivered to someone to make their day special.
I picture the gifts being wrapped, a little red gingham, a touch of red, a vintage rose, a butterfly or a red cardinal.
Can you guess who that blogger might be?  Let's see how well you know our blog buddies.
First one to guess wins a box of red goodies!

(Winner of last week's fab friday, the 622 press - letter press  was random number "21"- Chloedezigns - please e-mail me your address to send your winning!)

marnie,
I always love it when the stars align, and the universe sends a message, perhaps what the world needs is "red" - love and red trucks driving and handing out incentives to not give up hope!
my dad has always told me, "christmas" should live in our hearts all year, not just dec 25!
let's hear it for red!

anne-
those pom poms come in red...that would be fun!
happy weekend. wish I was down there to take a dip in the ocean and wear my red coral necklace
over some sort of florida tonic!

Yes, you must be my lost sister, no DNA needed. You will really laugh when you see my Glam Monday post, something reddish is going through the air. Have a great weekend.

I love oxblood red. It's my accent colour in my house, and I still love it, even know it's over 8 years old.

Best,
Michelle

the wrapping is really pretty.

I just opened the red tooled leather wallpaper that is going to be used as a frieze in my media room. Yummy. I grew up in Oklahoma where the soil is red and my husband thinks that my DNA has been affected by that. Who can be down in a red room?

Love red --and if it isn't the prevalent color, it needs to be somewhere in every room!

PS--my son graduates with an Associates from FIT on Tues and has been accepted into the BFA program...we went in to see the graduating student exhibition of the School of Art and Design--oh, Patricia, these kids are soooo talented! I know this would be right up your alley...the exhibit is until May 19 --and free! My son's roommate had a cardigan design picked up by Marc Echo for the Fall! In June, they'll exhibit Michelle Obama's dress from the inauguration (yellow--not red-haha!)

Thinking of you-Tara

Yes, I know that infamous red room: glorious, not hellish at all. My husband and I are enjoying Netflick reruns of all the Masterpiece classics we've enjoyed for years and years. Always loved the interiors. But wouldn't it be gobsmacking wonderful to have a series on the great designers of the world just so we could relive the wonders they created?
